Helen Heightsman Gordon, M.A., Ed. D., while a Professor of English at Bakersfield College in Bakersfield, California, published five textbooks, many professional journal articles, humor, and opinion pieces. She retired from the classroom in 1995 to bring her husband to Santa Barbara. Here she began trademarking and field-testing a word game, which she coined Anagrabber®. Ithas proven very popular with Helen's peers, her family, students, teachers, librarians, and party-goers.
